Ms. Parker joined BASIS San Antonio Primary Medical Center in 2015 as an English teacher and NJHS sponsor before transitioning to BASIS San Antonio Shavano as Dean of Students for the Upper School Program, and later to Director of Upper School Program. She looks forward to leading the campus as the Interim Head of School.

Ms. Parker earned a BS in English Education from Boston University, and holds teaching certifications in Texas and Massachusetts. She has experience teaching, mentoring, and tutoring in grades 5–12 throughout the greater Boston area, London, and Texas.
