Mrs. Foreman joined BASIS Charter Schools as the Director of Student Affairs at BASIS Peoria Primary. Being a part of the BASIS Flagstaff family as the Head of School, and among the ponderosa pines, is a homecoming for her. Mrs. Foreman was born and raised in upstate New York before moving to Arizona to attend Northern Arizona University. She holds a BA in Business Administration Marketing, which led her to work in product development and international marketing. She realized her passion for helping children learn and grow when she started her own family, so she returned to school to pursue a BA in Education and an MA in Curriculum & Instruction. Prior to joining BASIS Charter Schools, she served as a K–8 classroom teacher; Regional Trainer; Curriculum and Assessment Developer; Gifted Trainer; and as Curriculum, Instruction, and Intervention Specialist. She spent ten years mentoring new Mandarin teachers in a Mandarin immersion school and traveled to China with a Chinese Bridge Delegation to learn and share about international education. She holds endorsements in Elementary Education, Structured English Immersion, and Early Childhood Education.
