Jennifer Sande comes to the BASIS Charter Schools network with over 25 years of business and operations management experience. Mrs. Sande previously served as Director of Campus Operations (DCO) at the Lakeside Campus of the Great Hearts charter school network, where she managed all aspects of the school’s operational considerations, including office management, facilities maintenance, IT concerns, and food service. Prior to that, she was on the faculty at Great Hearts Northern Oaks in San Antonio, where she served as an Assistant Teacher in both grade 2 and grade 3. Mrs. Sande also boasts a two-decades long career in corporate sales where she worked for companies including Abbott Laboratories, Philips Sonicare, Xerox, Medtronic, and Takeda Pharmaceuticals, among others. These roles honed her professional skill set in business management, high-growth sales, and field marketing.
Mrs. Sande brings a palpable enthusiasm for operations management, campus administration, and student recruiting and retention to BASIS Charter Schools at the Benbrook Campus as our Director of Operations (DOPS). In this capacity, she is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the school, including vendor selection and management, assisting with purchasing and accounting, and facilitating technology management.
Mrs. Sande holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
