As Director of Academic Programs at BASIS San Antonio—Northeast Campus, Gabby Kimball looks forward to making sure all academic programs support students, so they can thrive and become lifelong learners. Her journey with BASIS Charter Schools began in 2017, when BASIS San Antonio Primary—North Central Campus opened and she simultaneously became a BASIS Charter School parent and grade 3 Learning Expert Teacher. In January 2019, she transitioned from her previous role to a grade three Math and Science Subject Expert Teacher and helped finish the year off with strong student results. She is passionate about the BASIS Charter School teaching model, and cares deeply about helping students succeed academically. She also believes that her experience in both roles in the unique primary school co-teaching model has helped her understand how to best support all the amazing teachers at BASIS San Antonio Northeast.
