How it Works

We acknowledge that starting a new school can be stressful, especially if your child joins after the beginning of the school year.  The BASIS Late Start -Jump Start program will help your child acclimate quickly to their new BASIS campus and make their first-week fun, and will include:

On your student’s first day you can bring them to our Front Office at 8:30 AM.
They will receive their important materials and be treated to a school tour with a member of the Administrative Team.
FREE campus swag or lunch on their first day.
Your student will be matched with a BASIS “First Friend” who will meet with your child for lunch and recess during their first week of school.
A scheduled meeting with a member of your student’s teaching team to take place two weeks after their start date to provide feedback about their progress and answer questions.

The following campuses still have openings for the current 2023–24 school year! We strongly encourage you to apply to multiple BASIS Texas Charter Schools, as this increases your chances of securing a seat. Applying to multiple schools does not adversely impact your status on any waitlists, so apply today!
