Once you have submitted an application for the 2025-26 school year, you can return to your DASHBOARD at any time to review, edit, or check the enrollment status of that submitted application. Please note that waitlisted applications do NOT roll over to the next school year. If you are waitlisted for the 2024-25 school year and wish to be eligible for enrollment for the 2025-26 school year, you will need to submit a new 2025-26 application starting on October 23, 2024. Visit the Current School Year Application Portal to review, edit, or check the enrollment status of an application submitted for the current 2024-25 school year.

Current BASIS Families

All current students must re-register for the 2025-26 school year by December 18, 2024.

Current families with students who will be continuing at the same BASIS Texas Charter School campus or its feeder school, or who wish to transfer to a different BASIS Texas Charter School campus, should complete the Re-registration Form for Current Families.

Timelines & Lottery

Open Enrollment for the 2025-26 school year is October 23 – December 18, 2024. Applications are still accepted after Open Enrollment but are not eligible for the Lottery. Your best chance for securing a seat is to apply during Open Enrollment.

The Open Enrollment period for Texas BASIS Charter Schools is NOT first-come, first-served. All applications completed during the Open Enrollment period are included within the lottery pool.

Open Enrollment Ends

December 18, 2024

Apply by midnight on the last day of Open Enrollment. If, for any grade level, the number of applicants exceeds the number of openings, there will be a lottery to determine enrollment and waitlist numbers.

Post Open Enrollment Period Begins

December 19, 2024

We will continue to accept and process applications received after the Open Enrollment period ends. Applications submitted after Open Enrollment will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis behind applications received during the Open Enrollment period.

Lottery and Offers

January 15, 2025

Texas lotteries and offers begin January 15th, 2025. Initial offers are for entry grades. Applicants that do not receive an offer will be placed on a numbered waitlist. Schools will continue to make offers to waitlisted applicants as additional seats become available.
